This lovely inn is widely-regarded as the premiere romantic getaway among all of Martha’s Vineyard’s hotels and inns. Situated on 2.5 acres of tree-filled grounds, this idyllic bed and breakfast is truly unique, has received a Four Diamond Award from the American Automobile Association (AAA) every year since 1990, and was voted the best bed and breakfast in America for 2005. Rooms at the inn boast private hot tubs, two-person whirlpools, working fireplaces, air conditioning, telephone, cable TV, and high speed internet access. The Inn is a honeymoon, anniversary and romantic getaway destination for couples. All rooms have one bed per room and we do not own cots or rollaway beds. Consequently, each room is designed for parties of only two persons. The inn is not appropriate for children or pets. -All fourteen rooms have full private baths. -Three guest rooms have two person whirlpool tubs. -Two guest rooms have private 300 gallon hot tubs. -Ten guest rooms have working fireplaces. We provide real wood at no charge. All fireplaces are prepared by our staff and are match-ready each day. Guests simply add split logs provided in the room. Fireplaces are prepared and useable any day of the year. Staff assistance is available for guests with no fireplace experience. -Central air conditioning in all guest and common rooms. -Complimentary high-speed internet access in all rooms. -Phones, color cable television and VCR in all guest rooms. -All rooms equipped with hair dryers, irons, full sized ironing boards and deluxe, custom made bathrobes. -The inn offers a smoke-free environment, including all guest rooms, common areas and grounds. -Homemade full country breakfast served in our two dining rooms or an ample continental breakfast in bed delivered to your room, all included in our room rates. Our menu changes daily and includes almond French toast, breakfast burritos, egg & cheese strata, quiche, cheddar stuffed French toast served with our own peach butter sauce, Belgian waffles or traditional eggs, bacon and toast. Freshly baked muffins are served daily and you can choose more healthy fare such as our own granola, stone ground oatmeal, varieties of yogurt and ample quantities of artistically arranged, cut fresh fruit. These are just samples of our offerings and it's all your choice. -Ample, on-site, free, off street parking. -Our renowned concierge service starts when you make your reservation. We can advise you on transportation arrangements to, from and on the Island, help you plan your touring using our copyrighted touring publication, "Island Secrets and Day trips", make dinner reservations for your stay that include written driving directions and direct you to secluded, non-crowded beaches. We will arrange rentals and delivery of first quality, multi-speed touring bikes, make tee times, charter a sailing vessel or order a bouquet of flowers, as you desire!
